Rwandan Survivor

Binyenzi "Ben" Schadrac was working for the United States Agency for International Development in Rwanda when the 1994 genocide began. He was able to evacuate his wife and children, but more than 100 members of his extended family were killed. Schadrac now lives in Winter Haven, Florida. He is the founder of War Survivors Ministries, a nonprofit organization that assists the orphans and the widows of genocide and AIDS.
