Eva Schloss

Holocaust Survivor

Eva Schloss was born in Vienna, Austria. Due to increasing antisemitism, her family migrated to Belgium and then the Netherlands, where she and Anne Frank became friends. Schloss and her mother survived Auschwitz and made their way back to the Netherlands, where her mother married Otto Frank in 1953. Schloss and her husband currently live in London, England, where she is active in Holocaust education, having spoken to over a thousand audiences. She is the author of two books, and was instrumental in developing the play And Then They Came For Me.
