Iris Chang

Author, The Rape of Nanking

Iris Chang (1968-2004) was a prominent American historian. As a journalist she wrote for numerous publications, including the New York Times, Newsweek, and the Los Angeles Times. She was the author of three books, most notably the bestselling The Rape of Nanking, which was the first full-length English-language narrative about the Nanking Massacre. Chang was a frequent lecturer and an interview subject, and her work has been cited by many researchers.
