Mary Enkababian

Wife and Daughter of Armenian Survivors

Mary Enkababian (née Sarian, 1920-2009) was born in Egypt, the daughter of Armenian refugees. Her older brother was separated from the family during the genocide, growing up with an Arab family. Eventually they were reunited in the United States, where Mary had spent her childhood. She and her husband, Antranik Enkababian, were married in 1943. They were active members of the New York and Florida Armenian communities.
